Google’s Blacklist 100+ Words You Can’t Say on Google
2600 Just released over 100 words that Google seems to HATE. Sites using these words are being sand boxed left and right. Yep, thye pillar of free speach (Google) has decided to be it’s own little FCC of the internet. Check out the list here.
The funniest paet is whats cool and whats not. You cant say white powder, for instance but black powder is A-OK. NeonaZi is a no-no, but not “Nazi” or “Fascist” or “Ku Klux Klan” – go figure.
Guys, Google is getting pretty big in the britches. Who’s gonna say enough. Us thats who. It’s the only way.
Tell me what you think, if your not to sure they’ll block it.

Just read the list and I gotta say….that Bill has a pretty sick mind. LOL.
Looks like that list is for Google Instant… Not necessarily for all of SEO… Am I understanding it right?
Just F%*kin hilarious. I always said I was embarrassed to be human…
Not sure which words surprised me more, the words Google blacklisted or the ones they haven’t (yet).
I agree with Chris, Bill does have a pretty sick mind! and creative
It’s stuff like this that has inspired me to develop a website where such antics aren’t an option.
User search queries are not sent to a central point of control – instead, queries are distributed straight from the user’s browser across lots of smaller computers in a peer to peer web search network: http://www.peer-search.net
It’s still a new site and results aren’t quite as desired yet, but give it a shot and send feedback / suggestions
Hello, thanks for the blog post. Infos are really usefull and saved me a lot time which I have spend on something else instead of searching
Im waiting for more, bye
Perry,
I am no fan of censorship believe me, but I have a seven year old who is learning to read at an alarming rate, and if you look at what Google instant does, and imagine your seven year old getting online to type “nike” and after two letters getting “nigger” how does that make you feel? Or typing “bang” and getting “bang bros.” a hardcore porn site.
If google were blocking sites from being searched at all because of bad words, then that would be the begining of digital communism. But because predictive text will be based on the most searched for terms, then it could very efficiently give our nation’s youth a light speed education of the seediest aspects of humanity. Think about it, I don’t know the actual numbers but last I heard something like 60% of the money spent online was for pornography. Do you really want your children being fed words driven by sex and drugs and violence?
I’m all for freedom and cuss like a sailor, but don’t feed my child ku kux klan, I’ll teach him about that when he’s ready.
Thanks for asking.

Definitely made me laugh. I’m going to post this same list up on one of my websites. Can’t believe that stuff about the KKK… seriously? What is up with them these days.
WTF dirty sAnchez?lol
I read through the list and wow! We humans can get pretty creative. Seriously though until the internet can get a hold on controlling what a young mind see’s, I guess google makin up a list is what they feel they have to do.
